Participation Terms & Acknowledgment

Welcome to Early Motion Matters. We are honored to support you and your child through our programs. To ensure a safe, clear, and positive experience for all participants, please review the following terms and acknowledgments carefully.

By registering for or attending any Early Motion Matters program, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Educational Nature of Programs

Early Motion Matters provides play-based movement classes, educational resources, and developmental guidance designed by licensed professionals. These programs are educational and preventative in nature and are not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. Participation does not establish a therapist-patient or healthcare provider relationship. If you have concerns about your child’s development or health, you should consult your pediatrician or a qualified healthcare provider.

2. Assumption of Risk

Participation in movement-based activities involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, slips, falls, and other minor injuries. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks on behalf of yourself and your child and agree that participation is voluntary.

3. Health & Participation Responsibility

You affirm that your child is in suitable physical condition to participate in program activities. You agree to inform staff of any relevant medical conditions, limitations, or concerns, monitor your child during sessions, and follow all safety instructions.

4. Supervision

A parent or legal guardian is expected to remain present and responsible for their child during participation. Staff provide guidance but do not assume custodial responsibility.

5. Emergency Care Authorization

You authorize Early Motion Matters staff to seek appropriate medical care for your child if necessary. You are responsible for any associated costs.

6. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Early Motion Matters and its representatives from any claims arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Code of Conduct

You agree to follow safety guidelines, treat others with respect, and avoid unsafe behavior. Early Motion Matters may deny participation if expectations are not met.

8. Media Release

You agree and consent to the use of your child’s image for promotional purposes.

9. Privacy

Personal information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Acknowledgment

By registering or attending, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms as a parent or legal guardian.
